For the upcoming Round 4 Senior Competition, HHC is celebrating the annual Women and Girls Round on 4-5 May and will be supporting Breast Cancer Network Australia’s (BCNA) Pink Sports Day.

Women and Girls Round is an incredibly important day for HHC where we acknowledge and celebrate the amazing women and girls we have in and around our club. Make sure to bring an important woman in your life, your mum, daughter, sister or grandma to enjoy the special round. Spectators are invited to wear a touch of pink and join our players in supporting Women and Girls Round – Pink Sports Day.

This year, we will be launching HHC Premier League and Reserve’s new pink playing tops, showing our support to all those diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as the families and loved ones affected. Check out the pink playing tops (and the great hockey!) when the Premier League Men’s and Women’s teams play at H-1 on Sunday 5 May at 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm and 5pm. Some of our Women’s and Men’s Pennant teams are also playing at H-2 at 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm. 

Over 20,000 women and over 217 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. Pink Sports Day raises funds and awareness. Come along on Sunday 5 May, enjoy the hockey and support BCNA, buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a bouquet of flowers or purchase some goodies from our bake sale. All proceeds will go directly to our BCNA fundraiser.
